During the presentation, the participants spoke about their developments, achievements in negotiations with potential partners and corporations, meetings that they managed to hold as part of the acceleration program. At the end of the event, Severstal shared the results of its interaction with startups.
During the 10 weeks of the acceleration program, 150 consultations with experts, 300 individual meetings with trackers, 26 individual meetings with representatives of Severstal, 25 formed and adapted proposals for city sites, 5 masterminds, 2 expert sessions with metropolitan departments took place.
We strive to find new solutions in the market that can help us open a new line of business in the construction sector. It was not easy to choose the winners: during the course of the program we saw many interesting solutions, but at the moment we see more potential in the technologies of the finalists in terms of product and business model. The projects of the Moscow Accelerator participants give reason to believe that the digital, technological and energy-efficient future of construction is getting closer. I thank my colleagues from the Moscow Innovation Agency for their support and effective cooperation!
Dmitry Gorbachev, Business System Development Director, Severstal
Paid pilots at partner sites will launch startups:
IK “Genesis” – a company in the field of engineering of building technologies for frame and frameless buildings;
AeroCarbon – a project of Aerocarbon Global for the production of innovative window profiles with high rates of energy saving and fire resistance;
Polymetrica is a building construction information modeling (BIM) technology company.
The winners were those projects that were able to demonstrate the highest innovative potential. Thanks to the program, they will receive support for further development. Leading companies, in turn, will be able to find options for optimizing production solutions through the introduction of breakthrough technologies. We thank Severstal for cooperation. It is very important for the Moscow Innovation Agency to see how large corporations support startups, how they implement their ideas in solving global problems
Ksenia Borbacheva, Deputy General Director of the Moscow Innovation Agency
It should be noted that the participants of the track have already managed to attract investments in the amount of more than 117 million rubles. Startup Caledosoft, which created an online house design service, received an amount of 2.5 million rubles. Another participant in the BuildTech track, the Vekfort startup, which has developed a line of innovative semi-finished composite materials available in various forms for specific customer tasks with desired properties, costs 40 million rubles. The RAM company, which introduced the technology of applying a diamond composite coating on metals – 75 million rubles.
The interaction with the participants of the BuildTech track does not end there: the graduates will continue to work both with the Severstal team and with the Moscow Accelerator program. They also have a three-month post-acceleration support program ahead of them.
