Surprising ones are nearby: what projects of residents of the technohub programs at Krasny Oktyabr make life easier and safer

In the Start Hub at Krasny Oktyabr, a space that unites technology entrepreneurs in Moscow, two new business development programs were launched at once in autumn: Moscow Accelerator and Open BRICS. This means that together with the residents of the StartHub.Moscow program, who began training in June, more than 300 companies intersect on the site, communicate and charge each other for new breakthroughs. Among them there are both novice startups and experienced players in the technology market. They are united by at least one thing – the desire to create projects useful for society. And for many, it succeeds.

For example, the product of the Russian IT company KSOR Antison, a driver condition monitoring system based on artificial intelligence, the Internet of things and computer vision technologies, helped prevent more than 280,000 accidents last year. With the help of constantly learning neural networks, the system analyzes the state of the driver of the transport, recognizes signs of falling asleep or loss of attention, warns the driver about this and thereby prevents accidents on the roads. The technology is based on its own software, the production of devices is localized in Russia.
Since 2019, the Antison system has been installed on 100% of the capital’s fleet of passenger transport: buses, electric buses and trams, locomotive subway cars. Also, Antison devices successfully work on special equipment in the oil and gas, mining, gold mining industries, in the agricultural industry, retail, as well as at critical infrastructure facilities, in situational and monitoring centers of hazardous enterprises and industrial facilities. As part of the development in the StartHub.Moscow program, CRRF launched more than 40 pilot projects with companies from various sectors of the economy.
Another resident of StartHub.Moscow has developed a mobile application for the Sputnik intercom. Now the search for keys, waiting for a courier, meeting guests, worrying about the car, as well as many other everyday chores can be entrusted to artificial intelligence. It works like this: a neural network recognizes faces and opens the door. You can control it remotely or watch video from the camera with a flick of the wrist: just swipe up or down on the screen and the image will change.
For the happy owners of pets, the participants of the new track of the Moscow Accelerator came up with and implemented the KotZdorov project. It is the largest round-the-clock veterinary telemedicine service in Russia, using its own technological communication platform and its own staff of veterinarians.
And CyberModul, a resident of the Moscow Accelerator, took care of those who want to live in their own energy-efficient home. Apparently, not only Muscovites were spoiled by the housing problem, the company is based in Kaliningrad. Using 3D stamping technology, they create modular construction houses of any size up to 5 floors, which are easy to transport and install on almost all surfaces. And in the future, they will offer floating structures for customers, the so-called “houses without a motor.”
